Drive your own dog sledding team of six to eight Siberian huskies located in the Gros Morne National Park, Wiltondale Newfoundland.
All the dogs are friendly and ready to take you for an exciting ride through the beautiful white hills backcountry. A pack of 50 husky dogs await to welcome you!

| Come get a general expereince of dog sledding with an hour trip. Meet at the Dog Base and meeting your huskies. Then get an awareness and expereince of the joy riding the sled through the snow laiden pine trees on newly made trails around Gros Morne National Park. | ||

Half Day Dog Explorer |

| Arrive early to meet the dogs and be part of the training session. The Half Day Dog Explorer trip gets out through the untouched back country of Newfoundland. There is a break half way for a hot drink and cookie in a wilderness snow camp. On request we can stop on Angle Pond and try ice fishing for trout. | ||

Full Day Dog Sled Experience |

| Again arrive early to meet the dogs and be part of the training session - you really will want to listen carefully to the advice given, as this is a full-on trip and you want to make the most of it! With the extended trip you get out through the forest and across a large frozen lake where we will also try Ice Fishing - and the real athentic experience. | ||

Please note the Dog Base is open from 9am till 4pm, and the dogs run between 10am and 4pm.
Children are welcome but accompanied, and can drive their own sled on request with an experienced musher.
Two guests per sled. Maximum of nine people per tour.
Each trip includes hot drinks and snacks. Any special dietary requirements should be notified of when booking.
On the longer tours we can stop to try Ice Fishing. This is optional at no cost, so simply ask when booking so we can plan the right route for your group.
